Troubleshooting: reconnect a source
When a connector goes quiet or shows an error, here is how to tell what happened and reconnect a source in a couple of taps.
Connectors can drop for ordinary reasons, a token expires, you change a password, a platform revokes access, or a permission is removed. Atlas tells you when this happens rather than quietly going stale, and reconnecting is quick.
Spot it#
- Settings, then Integrations, shows each source with its live status; a source needing attention is flagged there.
- A division reading a dropped source shows an honest empty or “needs reconnect” state instead of stale numbers.
- Data looks frozen, last sync is old, when a source has stopped reporting.
Reconnect it#
- 01Open Settings, then Integrations.
- 02Find the flagged source and choose Reconnect.
- 03Complete the platform’s secure OAuth prompt, this re-authorises Atlas with fresh access.
- 04Watch the status return to connected; the next sync backfills what was missed.
If it still won’t connect#
Check that your account on the other platform still has admin rights and that the app authorisation was not revoked on their side. If a connector keeps dropping, ask Alexia, she can read the connector’s status and tell you what it is reporting, or reach support from the help bubble.
A connector that drops should always tell you, never just show you an old number as if it were new.
