Data Deletion
Last updated · May 2026This page explains how to remove the data Atlas holds about you and your connected accounts, including the Meta (Facebook) data-deletion path. It is also the status page our Meta data-deletion callback links to.
01Removing Atlas from your Facebook settings
You can remove Atlas at any time from your Facebook settings, under Settings & Privacy, Settings, Business Integrations (or Apps and Websites), by selecting Atlas and choosing Remove. This tells Meta to deauthorize Atlas, which automatically triggers our deauthorize handler: we disconnect the Meta connector for your workspace and purge the ad-account insights and campaign metadata we derived from it.
02Meta data-deletion callback
Atlas also exposes a Meta Data-Deletion Callback, as required by the Meta Platform Terms. When Meta sends us a data-deletion request for your account, Atlas disconnects the Meta connector and purges all derived ad data we hold for that account, then returns a confirmation code and a link back to this page.
If you reached this page from such a link with a code in the address (for example, ?code=ABC123), that code is your deletion confirmation reference. It means the deletion request was received and processed; keep it for your records, and quote it if you contact us about the request.
03Other ways to request deletion
You do not need to go through Facebook. You can disconnect Meta, or any integration, at any time from Atlas Settings, Integrations, which revokes our access and purges the derived data for that integration.
To delete your wider account data, or if you want us to handle the request for you, email atlas@arthea.ai. We respond within 30 days and delete or anonymise personal data as described in the Privacy Policy.
04What we hold for Meta
For Meta (Facebook), Atlas only ever holds your own brand’s ad-account insights and campaign metadata, accessed under the ads_read and business_management permissions. We never hold end-customer personal data, message content, or audience content, and all of this data is EU-resident (Frankfurt).
